Aviyuna was founded with a simple belief: meaningful children’s books should be able to cross languages, cultures, and borders. Around the world, countless wonderful stories remain unknown to young readers simply because they have never been translated or published in their language.

By partnering with authors, literary agents, publishers, illustrators, and translators, we acquire publishing rights, create thoughtful translations, and publish beautifully crafted editions for new audiences.

Meet the Founder
Aviyuna was founded by Mai Nguyen, who has lived and worked across different cultures and countries. Inspired by the power of stories to connect people, she created Aviyuna to bring exceptional children’s books from around the world to new generations of readers.
With a background in international business and a passion for storytelling, she focuses on building bridges between authors, publishers, translators, and readers across languages and cultures.
